Productivity501 has a great post on Advice For New Professionals. A must read not just for young people starting on their first job but also for professionals who have a number of years of experience under their belt. The advice is US centric but applies equally well to Indian professionals. Just change some of the stuff to an Indian context and there you have it.
A must read.
